NUS Business and Economic Summer Camp11-Jul-2023

The excitement of venturing away from the routine, enjoying experiential learning, connecting with new people, enhancing knowledge, unleashing one’s potential and spurring competitive spirit in new environs were some of the aspects of the five-day Business and Economics Summer Camp attended by 29 students of Unison World School at National University of Singapore (NUS) from 11th July 2023 to 15th July 2023. The five-day camp was jam packed with brainstorming sessions, activities and visit to Amazon Web Service (AWS), Urban Redevelopment Authority Centre (URA) of Singapore and Universal Studios, Singapore. During the various sessions Uthenas got an insight into AI, cloud computing, customer privacy and data security at AWS, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Benefits of technology, Challenges associated with cryptocurrency, Expansion of social media, the Profound impact of AI on society, and Behavioural Economics. A quiz competition and city tour marked the camp's conclusion. In the quiz competition our students fought tooth and nail with their opponents to win laurels for the school. Kyra Aziz bagged gold medal, Shreeja Patwari received a silver medal and Samiksha Madhyani secured a bronze medal. The students were appreciated for their hard work and felicitated with a certificate by NUS. They left NUS campus with new knowledge, pleasant memories, and souvenirs for their loved ones.
