Students at Unison World School launched a community service programme on April 28, 2023, under the able leadership of Mrs. Amrit Burret, a well-known social entrepreneur in Purukul Village. The project aims to improve the quality of life for rural women by promoting their handicrafts and to instil in students a sense of responsibility for the environment by turning a piece of waste land into a lucrative green belt. The programme gave the students a chance to interact with the people in their neighbourhood and form bonds for a stronger sense of community
