Adolescence is a phase of transition and turbulence in the life of each child. Children find themselves trapped as they are neither treated as children nor as adults, the growth hormones further aggravate their dilemma. To help children understand these changes, mood swings and make them aware of the misconceptions they have perceived due to biological and psychological changes, a workshop on ‘Adolescence’ was conducted for the students of grade VII and VIII on 27th November 2023. The resource person Dr. Veena Krishnan in an interactive session discussed certain case studies to give them an insight of the transitional phase being experienced by them, resolve their queries and dispel their misconceptions.
