74th Independence Day15-Aug-2020

Unison World School celebrated our, 74th Independence Day with patriotic fervor. Following the protocols of social distancing and strict use of face masks, the ceremony was graced by members of staff, their wards, and other family members. Celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the Tri colour, by Ms. Divya Dwivedi, Principal, followed by the National Anthem and Guard of Honor by NCC Cadets. The ceremony was streamed live on Microsoft teams. All our students marked their reverence to the flag hoisting through their online presence. The Sports Prefect Divyanshi, spoke on the, “relevance of the day for students in present times”, followed by patriotic songs and dance by staff wards. Dr. Mona Khanna, Vice Principal, wished the students, parents and staff on the occasion of 74th Independence Day and a vote of thanks was proposed by our Sports Vice Prefect, Nidha Ashraf. All hearts puffed with pride and patriotism when the auditorium reverberated with the combined singing of 'Saare Jahan Se Achha' as each of us pledged to stay together in the challenges that not only Covid-19 has placed before us, but many more that may come our way.
