Inter-House English Parliamentary Debate 25-Jul-2020

The online Inter-House English Parliamentary Debate Competition Round-1 was held at Unison World School on 25th July, 2020. The debate was held in the Parliamentary Debating Format for the two categories Upper School & Senior School. The aim of the competition was to hone public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. The speakers of classes IX- XII of all the four houses spoke eloquently on the given topics. The winners of first round Daffodil and Tulip went to debate against each other for the first and second position and Orchid and Jasmine went to compete for the third position in Round 2 in the Senior School Category. The winners of first round Orchid and Tulip went to debate against each other for the first and second position and Daffodil and Jasmine went to compete for the third position in Round 2 in the Upper School Category. The second round of the online Inter-House English Parliamentary Debate Competition was held at Unison World School on 7th August, 2020. The aim of the competition is to generate effective critical thinking of primary issues in the given topic. In the Upper School Category, Orchid House bagged the first position, Tulip House stood second and Daffodil House third. The Best Speaker prize was bagged by Sanvi Kapoor of Daffodil House. Tulip House bagged the first position, Daffodil House came second and Orchid House came third in the Senior School Category. The Best Speaker prize was bagged by Ruchhika Agarwal of Tulip House.
